This is a solo exhibition by Liew Kwai Fei, and it "highlights the study and development of a particular stream of modernist painting and drawing strategies that is often sidelined in the history of Malaysian abstraction, which hasprioritised abstraction as an expressive and emotive language." Prior to this, Liew has participated in a number of group exhibitions and was also part of the VASL International Artist Residency in Karachi, Pakistan in 2003.
