Forever Plaid

Direct from a 1950’s London comes four once young and eager deceased men set to give you a performance they never got to when they were still alive. This is no nonsensical quirk. Literally a heavenly musical, Forever Plaid tells the story of Frankie, Smudge, Jinx and Sparky, who were once rock and world ascendants, on the way to their first major concert. This was until they were killed by a busload of screaming Catholic schoolgirl fans on their way to the Beatles’ American debut on the Ed Sullivan Show. Hilariously killed and pushed aside literally, and figuratively by the arrival of the Beatles!
A comical, poignant, affectionate and capricious salute back to a more innocent time, Forever Plaid is one swinging musical mix of 1950’s and 1960’s rock n’ roll with infusions of witty comedy and dark humour you simply cannot miss. Join the harmony group, the Plaids as they return from the afterlife for one final chance at musical glory. In placing the 1950s into a modern context, Forever Plaid is truly suitable for any age, giving both the young and old an insight into contemporary musical history. Go on and give the Plaids the applause and encores they deserve and have longed for over 60 years!
