Texan band Explosions in the Sky blew the roof off Ruums when they were here in February without even singing a verse. Perhaps boosted by the response that the band enjoyed, Soundscape Records are bringing down Japanese post-rock band Mono this July.

It’s time once again for the spotlight to shine on some of the best singer-songwriters our local front has to offer. And the line-up for this year’s KL Sing Song doesn’t disappoint. Spread across three days at the black box of Pentas 2, KL Sing Song will feature 20 acts performing stripped down sets in an intimate setting, allowing the audience to appreciate the music in its rawest form.

While we’ve been used to attending Hennessy Artistry events in a club, they’re shaking it up and offering something different this time around. Be prepared for a concert experience at the Bukit Kiara Indoor Arena, featuring performer like Flo Rida, Machi, Latin Prince, Pop Shuvit and VJ Callen.
